This page is for podcasters to advertise for actors, producers, editors, guests, etc. It should be noted that while these are basically help wanted ads, no podcast pays for its posting here.
This page will only be edited as I receive more listings. Be sure to check the dates on each listing to make sure they haven’t lapsed–and if they have, feel free to hit me up using my contact page or on Twitter.

The Parsec, Geekie, and AudioVerse-nominated Fantasy Audiodrama THE ONCE AND FUTURE NERD is looking to add to its roster of post-production mixers and sound designers. We’re looking for sound designers who are comfortable taking edited dialogue stems, a script and a cue list and realizing the sound field of our magical world with periodic director feedback.
We can offer a stipend of $50 US per episode (approx. 25 minutes each). You’ll also get a conspicuously listed-credit and may of course use anything you make for us in your own reel/portfolio (provided we talk beforehand about what will be publicly released and when). For anyone who wants to make audio drama, this is a good chance to have creative freedom while still benefitting from an established listenership and the guide rails of an established fictional world.
Anyone interested should email iordic.princes at gmail dot com with the subject line “TOAFN Sound Designer”

99% Invisible is looking for a talented and driven producer to join our team in beautiful, downtown Oakland, California. With over 225 million downloads, 99PI is consistently one of the most popular podcasts in itunes. Host Roman Mars is also a co-founder of Radiotopia, a collective of ground-breaking story-driven podcasts. Our producers receive competitive salaries, full benefits, and flexible/reasonable schedules. We believe people should have time for a life outside of work.
The ideal candidate will have four or more years of experience producing creative, narrative journalism with spark and personality. 99% Invisible reporters are characters on the show with an infectious enthusiasm for seemingly mundane details in the built world.
GRP roles are unpaid gigs. This is a labor of love. Knoxville-area residents only. Must be over 18 years of age to participate in the podcast.
Please do not apply for roles meant to represent minorities and marginalized groups if you do not share their identity. This means you must be a transgender person to play a trans character, you must be a person of color to play POC characters, you must be an Autistic person to play an Autistic character, etc.
If race is not specified in the role description, that does not mean the character is therefore white — in The Ghost Radio Project, white is not a “default.” Representation is very important to us. We want our cast to reflect real life and all the diversity therein. So, if you think you could play the character, please audition! No past acting experience is required.
[Visit the site linked above and] Click a gender above to view available roles and apply. Alternatively, you may email firstname.lastname@example.org and let us know which role you are interested in to start the audition process. We will send you an audition script, and you will send us a quick video or audio audition. Please apply NOW, as our roles tend to fill very quickly. The first person to nail it gets the role, so make sure you’re at the top of the list by applying sooner rather than later.
- News Anchor: Play a professional news anchor who works for the national news. All ages (18+) and identities are needed Should be able to do the monotone news-style voice.
- Preacher: Fire-and-brimstone preacher out in the middle of the desert. Male, should sound between age 40 and 60. Few lines, but lines are very intense. Meant to sound haunting, eerie, a little scary. Lots of yelling. High-energy role. Race not specified.
- Soldiers: Seeking multiple actors to play soldiers in the U.S. Army who patrol the Outlands and send out various military communications. All ages (18+) and identities are needed for these roles!
- Farmers, homesteaders, and other outlanders: Play one of the many amazing people who manage to survive and thrive in the Outlands. These include all those who are friends to the Ghosts.
- Panicked homesteader: A homesteader somewhere in the Outlands is under attack and sends out a panicked SOS transmission. Must be able to express adrenaline and fear. Age, race, and gender not specified.
- Traffickers, marauders, and other fiends: If you’ve always wanted to play a “bad guy,” this is for you. Pull out your meaner side and terrify our audience as one of the many scumbags in the Outlands who make their living by preying on the innocent.

Hello everyone! Production on season two is about to start, and we have some new characters that need voices!
We are a queer production of queer content, and we’d like to respectfully ask any straight allies to refrain from auditioning. Send a link to this call out along to your queer friends instead!
We would like to strongly encourage people of colour to audition. We would also like to encourage disabled people to audition – the building and recording studio we use is fully accessible.
You do not need voice acting experience to audition!
To audition for a part (or multiple parts – which you are welcome to do!) record your audition and send it as a .mp3, .wav or .ogg file to email@example.com with the subject line “audition”. Let us know which part(s) you’re auditioning for, and feel free to tell us a little about yourself in your email!
Don’t worry if you don’t have a good microphone – we’ll be listening to your voice, not the quality of your mic. Record it on your phone if you like! We’ll be recording the real deal in a studio anyway, so your audition audio quality does not matter at all.
Speaking of which, we will be recording the dialogue for the show at the Kathleen Syme Library and Community Centre, at 251 Faraday St, in Carlton, Melbourne. You will need to be able to travel there for the recording session(s), the dates of which are not yet booked – but will take place most likely on Sunday afternoons, in April, May, or June 2018, with the option for pickups to fix stuff if needed in July.
While it may be possible to work with actors travelling from interstate, we’d vastly prefer actors who reside in Melbourne, or regional Victoria.
Rehearsals will be had either in person, or over Skype or Discord.
Auditions close 1 March 2018. You should hear back by 10 March about whether or not your audition was successful.
Please note that the audition lines are NOT the actual dialogue from the real script. We’re keeping those under wraps for now so as to not spoil anything. Rest assured, if you’re chosen, you will get to read the real dialogue before you commit.
These characters are all crew on the Stribog, the ship orbiting Fons. They are supporting roles, appearing in 1 – 3 episodes in season 1, with possibly larger roles in future seasons.
Recordings are conducted over Discord, so your location does not matter, as long as you are able to record with the team. You must have a decent microphone and a quiet place to record.
Gender is specified for some roles, but we encourage trans and nb actors to audition. As long as you are comfortable being referred to by the pronouns of the character, we are happy to have you. If gender is not specified, then it is malleable and dependent on the actor that we choose.
Unless specified in the role, we encourage actors of all ethnicities and backgrounds to audition.
If you are interested in auditioning, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will send you a small scene to read.
Looking For All Kinds of Help For Audiodrama Podcast
Hi, I make the audiodrama podcast At The End Of The Line, with the idea being it’s a post-apocalyptic travel show as the host journeys around a ruined England. Basically I get to play with every different apocalyptic scenario you can think of – zombies, Artificial Intelligence, plagues.
I pretty much do everything by myself and I’m looking for other people to be involved, it can be behind the scenes with writing, editing, music etc., but also looking for voice actors. The show is essentially one person, Richard Oliver, relaying what has happened recently but I want to have more “guests” being interviewed as well as having other actors to do segments or allow me greater options with narrative than me being the sole voice actor currently allows.
Any help would be greatly appreciated with full credit given but unfortunately no money.
Below is the website so you can see what the show is like –
Anyone interested me email – email@example.com or get in touch via twitter – @postapocpodcast
